Job description

Overview

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll have a key role in creating positive patient experiences using our innovative G3 approach (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude). You'll help patients feel welcome and supported whether they are coming in for treatment or calling to schedule an appointment. You will also assist them with financial arrangements for treatment.

The Dental Patient Care Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience from initial inquiry through treatment completion. This role combines customer service, administrative support, scheduling coordination, and financial communication to help the dental office run smoothly and efficiently.


Schedule (days/hours)
M-Th 9-5pm & F 7-2pm
Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Communication

  • Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries promptly
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
  • Address patient questions regarding procedures, treatment plans, and office policies
  • Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and post-operative care

Insurance & Financial Coordination

  • Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Explain coverage, co-pays, and estimated out-of-pocket costs
  • Prepare and present financial arrangements
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims

Qualifications
  • At least one year related experience
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications
  •  Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting

Compensation
$22-25/hr
