Are you a nursing, pre-med, OT/PT, or healthcare student looking for hands-on patient-care experience while in school?
At Always Best Care of Charleston, our caregivers work one-on-one with seniors in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. This role is a great fit for local students who want meaningful healthcare experience, flexible scheduling around classes and clinicals, and the opportunity to continue working throughout the school year.
Build real-world patient-care skills, strengthen your rรฉsumรฉ, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a caregiver, you'll provide support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Responsibilities may include:
  • Medication reminders
  • Assistance with mobility and walking
  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Running errands or grocery shopping
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Observing and reporting changes in condition
