Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Lillington, NC. You'll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning.

What You'll Do
  • Administers screening protocols
  • Administers therapeutic treatment protocols written by the speech-language pathologist.
  • Communicates with students and other professionals to meet the emotional needs of students.
  • Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists.
  • Manages behavior using appropriately designed management techniques.
  • Summarizes and records target behaviors during therapy sessions.

What We're Looking For
  • Passing score on a competency test approved by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Registration as an assistant with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
