Medical Technologist: Evening Shift (Flexible Start Time 4:00 pm to 12:30 am)

Medical Laboratory Technologist Responsibilities:
Perform and document daily Quality Control; identify and resolve QC issues
Operate, calibrate, and maintain instruments for quantitative and qualitative analysis
Troubleshoot instrument problems and work with Technical Support as needed
Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids (blood, urine, etc.) to identify normal and abnormal components
Accurately enter and verify test results in the LIS
Recognize abnormal and critical values and communicate them promptly
Identify trends, discrepancies, and deviations from expected results
Perform manual microscopy on blood smears and urine samples
Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and all regulatory standards
Support the team with additional duties as assigned

Instrumentation & Specialties
Chemistry & Immunology: Roche Cobas Pro
Hematology: Sysmex
Urinalysis: Clinitek

Medical Technologist Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
Current MLS/CLS/MT certification (ASCP or equivalent)
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform highly complex testing (CLIA '88)
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
A team oriented mindset and a commitment to accuracy and patient care
