THE ROLE:

As a Director, Integrated Media Strategy & Planning, you are in the driver's seat for refining the products and processes that define our Media craft. You are equal parts agency developer and strategic client partner, responsible for expanding the Integrated Planning practice within North America and globally. You understand that real media impact comes from a holistic view of consumers, culture, and commerce, and you have the expertise to lead teams in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments to deliver lasting growth for world-class brands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the expansion of the Integrated Planning and Strategy practice, refining best-in-class processes across both B2B and B2C verticals.
  • Direct full-funnel, data-driven media strategies for nationally and internationally recognized brands, ensuring every plan moves "hearts and minds."
  • Partner with Business Development to spearhead new business pitches and identify proactive growth opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
  • Navigate and lead in complex, multi-agency (IAT) environments, ensuring DEPT's strategic vision is integrated across all partner workstreams.
  • Champion the use of advanced media research tools and data science to drive innovation in audience profiling and channel mix strategy.
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of strategic output across multiple account teams, ensuring a high bar for creativity and rigor.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Associate Directors and Managers, fostering a culture of "relentless curiosity" and high-performance collaboration.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 8-11 years of experience in omni-channel media strategy and planning, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC).
  • A proven track record of winning new business and successfully retaining and growing high-value client relationships.
  • Expertise in utilizing a wide array of research and measurement tools (ComScore, MRI, GWI, Kantar, Pathmatics, etc.) to drive strategy.
  • Experience working within or leading Integrated Agency Teams (IAT) for large-scale, global accounts.
  • Exceptional leadership instincts with the ability to inspire followership and manage senior-level client expectations.
  • Deep knowledge of how media intersects with Content, Commerce, and Technology to create seamless digital experiences.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale media budgets and agency resource planning.
