Candidates will partner with the Museum staff to catalog, inventory, and store artifacts. They will use the Museum's PastPerfect software to update the accession records.
The contract registrar will work at the Tennessee Agricultural Museum on the Ellington Agricultural Center. They will work under the supervision of the Museum curator and Museum director to catalog artifacts, edit their entries, manage their software profiles, and coordinate their professional storage. Some lifting is required. The individual needs to be a self-starter who is familiar PastPerfect and can handle artifacts with the best practices promoted through the American Association of Museums.
