First Baptist Church of Monroeville is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead a biblically grounded congregation of approximately 50 weekly attendees. This role centers on expository preaching, pastoral care, and active leadership within the life of the church.
We are a financially stable, fellowship-driven church with strong lay leadership and administrative support.

Position Overview

The Senior Pastor will:
  • Preach and teach Godโ€™s Word faithfully each Sunday
  • Provide pastoral care (visitation, counseling, hospital and home visits)
  • Lead or teach a weekly Bible study (preferred)
  • Work cooperatively with deacons and church leadership
  • Be actively involved in the life of the congregation
  • Officiate weddings, funerals, and special services as needed

Qualifications
  • Meets biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
  • Commitment to biblical authority and sound doctrine
  • Experience in pastoral ministry preferred
  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Theological training (degree or equivalent ministry experience)
