Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our pasta production facility in New Hope, Minnesota.

Our overnight shift offers a consistent work schedule, less traffic during your commute, and the flexibility to balance daytime commitments such as family, school, or personal pursuits. In addition, night-shift employees enjoy a quieter work environment while playing a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of the products our customers rely on every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, andspecificationcompliance

  • Audit production and packaging for accuracyinshapes,specifications,storage,packaging,labelingandcoding

  • Identifyand manage non-conforming productsand food safetyhazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions

  • Maintainrecords,documentation,andretention samples

  • Proactivelyidentifyandexecute on continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accreditedinstitution

  • Previous work in a food manufacturing environment

  • Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

  • Experience with MicrosoftOfficeapplications(Outlook,Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in QA testing

Physical Requirements:

Qualified candidates must be able toperformthe following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Crouch, kneel, stoop, reach above shoulders, bend,balance, climb, work on ladder, push,pull,grasp,feel,perform fine manipulation, lift/carry (up to 50 pounds),sit,standandwalkfor extended periods

  • Work in dusty,highheat/humidityenvironment

  • Communicate verbally and in writing,and distinguish objectsor equipment visually

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00

Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:00am Sunday-Thursday
