Pasta & Mozzarella Production Manager
Do you have a passion for authentic Italian pasta and fresh mozzarella? Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is looking for a Full-Time Pasta/Mozzarella Production Manager for our newest gourmet store in Greenvale, NY! Lead our Pasta & Mozzarella production, create house-made Italian delicacies, and share your expertise with our customers.
Your Role:
  • Make fresh pasta and mozzarella using Uncle Giuseppe's authentic Italian recipes
  • Supervise, train, and schedule production staff
  • Record daily ingredient usage, batch sizes, and transfers to other outlets
  • Ensure high quality control and minimize waste in all production
  • Weigh, package, and label pasta and mozzarella products
  • Stock display refrigerators neatly and accurately
  • Provide customers with information on pasta and mozzarella making processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation following food safety practices
  • Manage supplies and ensure proper utilization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in cheese/dairy production and strong customer service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Fluent in English

Working Conditions:
  • Active role requiring frequent movement, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 30 lbs; heavier items with assistance)
  • Indoor environment with temperature extremes (freezers, ovens, coolers) and occasional loud equipment
