Summary
The Administrator, Loistics Planning is responsible for overseeing and executing Wholesale planning strategies for key customers. This role focuses on demand forecasting, data analysis, performance reporting, and process optimization to ensure logistics operations align with business objectives. The Administrator, will lead cross-functional coordination with operational departments and regional teams to drive timely execution of wholesale initiatives, identify operational improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
Compensation
$61,949 - $74,338 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
โ€ข Wholesale Planning & Forecasting:
- Assist in the oversight and execution of wholesale logistics planning by VPC, Ports and Ramp
- Contribute to the preparation and tracking of customer wholesale forecasts to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Review and evaluate existing wholesale forecasting methodologies, develop and enhance forecasting tools, and monitor forecast accuracy to drive continuous improvement and support business objectives.
- Assist in developing model and regional forecasts by analyzing processing and transportation capacities, comparing projections against customer targets, and supporting planning strategies to achieve business objectives.
โ€ข Vehicle flow management:
- Develop and execute logistics planning strategies by understanding the end to end vehicle distribution process from overseas production through ocean transportation, port operations, inland transportation, and final dealer delivery to ensure efficient vehicle flow and customer satisfaction
- Analyze daily operational variables and provide timely, effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted vehicle flow and service performance.
- Monitor wholesale target achievement against the overall vehicle pipeline and take proactive actions to address gaps and support business objectives.
โ€ข Data Analytics & Decision Support:
- Utilize data from various systems, including SAP, iTMS, and iVelles, to identify operational issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop data-driven solutions that enhance business and operational performance.
- Improve wholesale forecast accuracy through data analysis and provide recommendations for operational improvements to support business objectives.
โ€ข Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with internal departments, including Ports, VPCs, and Transportation teams to ensure execution of plans.
- Monitor operational performance against established plans, analyze impacts on wholesale targets, and drive corrective actions to address performance gaps and operational risks.
- Proactively manage customer requests and concerns, ensuring timely resolution through effective planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination to maximize customer satisfaction.
Process Improvement & Automation:
- Continuously improve existing reports and develop new reporting tools to enhance data visibility, operational insights, and reporting automation.
- Develop tools to support customer requirements and Internal operational team needs.

- Lead and support ad hoc projects and special initiatives to address evolving business needs, improve operational performance, and support organizational
objectives.
