Part-Time Teacher's Aide
Lancaster, MA | 22.5 Hours per Week
Pay: $16-17.75
RFK Community Alliance Child Development Center
RFK Community Alliance is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Teacher's Aide to join our Child Development Center in Lancaster, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Working alongside our Lead Teachers, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and enriching classroom for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, encouraging their curiosity, creativity, social-emotional growth, and language development through daily activities and play-based learning.
What You'll Do
  • Support Lead Teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and routines.
  • Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, play, meals, and transitions.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and language development.
  • Help maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming classroom.
  • Build collaborative relationships with teachers, staff, and families to support each child's success.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Schedule
  • Part-Time - 22.5 hours per week
  • Shifts are scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
