Job description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Be Part of the Future of Pediatric Development

At the Pediatric Development Center (PDC), we believe your career should grow with youโ€”your passions, your priorities, and your goals. Joining PDC as a Speech-Language Pathologist isnโ€™t just about finding a jobโ€”itโ€™s about stepping into a practice designed to fuel your professional growth, amplify your impact, and create space for your expertise to shine.

PDC is a relationship-centered, play-based therapy practice that values collaboration, innovation, and clinical excellence. We know SLPs thrive when they can focus on what they do best: helping children find their voice and connect with the world around them. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™ve built systems, supports, and programs that clear away barriersโ€”so you can focus on delivering life-changing care.

Position: Flexible (full-time, part-time, onsite, hybrid, or telehealth)
Compensation: Competitive, with growth opportunities and incentives

About The Pediatric Development Center
Founded in 2007 by Amy Wetherill, a Speech-Language Therapist and Certified Orofacial Myologist with over 25 years of experience, PDC has always combined clinical excellence with innovation. Today, we are doubling down on that mission: creating an environment where smarter tools, seamless operations, and a collaborative culture empower therapists to make their greatest impact.

Speech-Language Pathologists Should Apply If You Have:

  • An active SLP license in Maryland (or ability to obtain before starting).
  • A passion for working with children and families through play-based, family-centered care.
  • Strong clinical instincts and a commitment to growth and excellence.
  • Experience (or interest) in teletherapy, feeding therapy, or social skills development a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset for working with OTs, BCBAs, and a multidisciplinary team.

What PDC Offers:

  • Career Growth & Leadership: Mentorship, CEU stipends, and clear pathways into advanced clinical or supervisory roles.
  • Integrated, Collaborative Care: Innovative programs that bring OT, SLP, and ABA together for holistic impact.
  • Flexibility That Fits Your Life: Full-time, part-time, onsite, hybrid, and telehealth models.
  • Supportive Culture: Rooted in teamwork, inclusion, and professional autonomy.
  • Competitive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, employer-paid disability and life insurance, company-matched 401(k), generous PTO, and holidays.
  • Technology & Administrative Support: Tools and systems that let you focus on clients, not paperwork.

Why PDC?
Because weโ€™re not just offering therapy jobsโ€”weโ€™re reshaping the future of pediatric development. By investing in technology, collaboration, and clinician-first systems, weโ€™ve created a place where Speech-Language Pathologists can thrive while making a lasting difference for families.

Apply now and join a practice where talent meets innovation to transform childrenโ€™s lives.
