Job description
Step into an inspiring educational environment and make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving either elementary or middle school students. The role begins with a part-time schedule of 4 hours per week, with the option for increased hours after September. To excel in this position, you should bring:
- Current SLP-CCC certification and relevant state licensure
- Experience with school-based SLP responsibilities, including teletherapy
- Familiarity with administering and implementing IEPs; training on the district’s specific IEP system provided
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with teaching staff, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to varied caseloads
- Comfortable participating in both remote (Zoom) and onsite interview processes, including a model lesson demonstration
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy to students, either onsite or via teletherapy, in a dedicated therapy space
- Conducting assessments, writing reports, and documenting progress for each student
- Developing and executing individualized treatment plans according to IEP goals
- Collaborating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive, inclusive environment
- Participating in ongoing professional development with district-provided training
