Summary

The Bed Placement Specialist is responsible for real-time patient placement and bed assignment across the hospital to ensure timely admissions, efficient throughput, and optimal use of inpatient capacity. This role coordinates patient flow from the Emergency Department, Operating Room, procedural areas, direct admissions, and transfers while working closely with nursing units, physicians, and ancillary departments. The Bed Placement Specialist is a key operational role in maintaining hospital capacity, reducing patient boarding time, and supporting safe, efficient care transitions in a 24/7 environment.

Seeking Bed Placement Specialist!Part-time (48 hours biweekly), Dayshift 2- 12-hour shifts, rotates every 3rdweekend Baptist Health Floyd, Staffing OfficeSouthern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
