EURO-COMPOSITES ® Corporation, located in Culpeper, Virginia, is one of the global leading manufacturers of lightweight composite products based on honeycomb core. The product range consists of various types of honeycomb, panels, formed, milled parts and drop-in parts for a wide range of industries and especially for the aeronautical industry.

JOB SUMMARY includes, but not limited to:
Summary/Objective:
The Quality Control Parts Inspector is responsible for, but not limited to, the visual and physical inspection of various products and equipment, including inspection setup and reports.
Essential Functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical detail through verbal and written methods
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications associated with composite product designs
  • Access to the Engineering of new products including model-based definition.
  • Time will be split working between a lab environment and production environment
  • Ability to define depth and length of inspection activities including sampling.
  • Exposure to varying levels of temperatures, noises, and dust
  • Extended periods of time sitting and working on computers
  • Extended periods of time walking and standing on concrete floors
  • Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Consistent unassisted pushing, pulling, lifting, crouching, reaching, and bending
  • Inspect parts to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Read drawings from customers
  • Evaluate measuring instruments
  • Accept or reject materials and instruments based on inspection criteria
  • Enter inspection results into company database
  • Coordinate with other departments to offer feedback and support regarding findings
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good understanding of math
  • Technical background preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of diverse units of measurements for various requirements
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to accuracy and precision
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards
  • Previous forklift certification and experience a plus
  • Open availability, including weekends (per company needs)
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday Shift Work Must be available to work any required shift:
    • 1st Shift - 6AM to 2PM
    • 2nd Shift - 2PM to 10PM
    • 3rd Shift -10PM to 6AM (Sunday-Thursday)
Salary Information:
  • Hourly, non-exempt
  • Starting rate $18.00/hr commensurate with experience
