Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections at Receipt, In Process and Final Inspections IAW the drawing.
  • Perform electrical inspections at Receipt, In Process and Final Inspections IAW the drawing.
  • Responsible for responding to and correcting quality issues.
  • Review Process instruction and other special processes.
  • Measure and report various aspects of quality performance to management.
  • Perform receiving, shipping, and packaging inspections.
  • Coordinate with all relevant parties on quality issues and audits.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • As assigned by QA Supervisor

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Receiving experience preferred.
  • Experience reading Blueprints.
  • Ability to use hand measuring and electrical testing equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate well and work in a Team environment.
  • 3 years' experience as a Quality Inspector or 5 years trade experience in machining, electrical, or fabrication.
  • VT Level II NDT is a plus.
  • NBPI or Nace certified is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing these job duties, the employee is routinely required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
  • This position is performed in a traditional manufacturing environment, with some local travel between facilities.
