Hoselton Toyota is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Advisor to join our great team!
This position will support our Toyota Service Department.

  • Full time schedule: 6:30am - 3:30pm | Availability to work Monday - Saturday with a day off during the week (every other Saturday)
  • Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 earnings range, depending on level of experience (includes monthly commission plan)
  • Experience: We are looking for someone with auto parts experience (dealership or other retail/shop setting)

What does a Parts Counter Advisor do?
  • Wait on parts customers - wholesale, retail, internal and technicians
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is educated on the full product line
  • Order parts as needed and keep the Service Department and/or customer informed as to when orders arrive or if there are delays in receiving

POSITION SUMMARY
The Parts Advisor is responsible for supporting the Parts Department staff and operations. Primary objective is to ensure accurate and prompt processing of parts orders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver parts to technicians in the shops as needed
  • Pull parts from current inventory and restock inventory as needed
  • Parts Advisor will learn to work with parts catalog
  • Assist in ordering and locating parts
  • Handle on-line parts orders
  • Help with reconciling purchase orders with invoicing
  • Conduct perpetual inventories by doing regular bin checks
  • Participate in annual Physical Inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
