We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Trailer Parts Sales Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with trailer parts, accessories, and replacement components while providing knowledgeable product guidance and excellent service.


The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of trailer parts such as axles, brakes, hubs, bearings, lights, wiring, suspension components, couplers, jacks, wheels, tires, hitches, and related accessories. This position serves as a key point of contact for retail, commercial, and service customers, helping them identify the correct parts and complete their purchases efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct trailer parts and accessories based on trailer type, application, measurements, and specifications. 
  • Provide technical advice, product information, and fitment guidance to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Process sales transactions, quotes, invoices, returns, and special orders accurately and efficiently. 
  • Answer customer questions regarding pricing, availability, installation, product features, and compatibility. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of trailer parts, towing accessories, industry trends, and new products. 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. 
  • Support walk-in, phone, email, online, and commercial account customers.

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, stocking, labeling, and organizing parts. 
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and condition. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter and sales area. 
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall service quality. 
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities while focusing on customer needs. 
  • Help resolve customer concerns, warranty issues, returns, or order discrepancies. 
  • Use point-of-sale, inventory, and parts lookup systems accurately.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience preferred, especially in trailer parts, automotive parts, RV parts, heavy equipment, or a related industry.
