Job description

Description:

Do You Know the Difference Between a Water Pump and a Fuel Pump?

More importantly, can you help someone find the right one without creating a three-day repair delay and a stack of returns?

At Steve Rayman Chevrolet, we’re looking for a Parts Sales Associate who understands that the job is about more than selling parts. It’s about keeping our technicians productive, our customers happy, and our dealership profitable.

In our world, success comes down to three things:

  • Get the right part the first time
  • Take care of customers like they’re family
  • Help the dealership make money while keeping the shop moving

If you’re the type of person who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and doesn’t break into a cold sweat when someone asks for a part number, we’d like to talk to you.

Why Steve Rayman Chevrolet?

We’re one of Georgia’s most established Chevrolet dealerships, and we’re committed to building a team of professionals who care about customers, care about each other, and take pride in winning together.

If you’re looking for a place where hard work is recognized, performance matters, and every day is different, apply today.

Steve Rayman Chevrolet is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

What You’ll Do:

Help Customers Find What They Need

* Assist walk-in, phone, and internal service customers (technicians and advisors) in selecting and purchasing the correct parts and accessories

* Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information

* Recommend related parts, accessories, and current dealership promotions

* Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and urgency

Keep the Shop Moving

* Pull and fill customer and technician orders accurately and efficiently

* Ensure parts are billed correctly on repair orders

* Process sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims

* Work closely with service advisors and technicians to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Help Manage Inventory

* Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management

* Participate in inventory counts and stock checks

* Maintain accurate inventory records

* Keep the parts counter, warehouse, and showroom clean, organized, and ready for business

What Success Looks Like

At the end of the day, this isn’t really a “parts counter” job.

It’s a customer service job, a sales job, and an operations job all rolled into one.

The best Parts Sales Associates:

* Make customers want to come back

* Keep technicians productive

* Protect gross profit

* Reduce mistakes and returns

* Take ownership of their area

If your idea of a good day is helping people, solving problems, and hearing a technician say, “Thank goodness you found that part,” you’ll fit right in.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Automotive parts experience preferred

* Dealership experience is a plus

* Knowledge of automotive systems and components preferred

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
