Job description

Bobcat of Indy is a full-service Bobcat dealer located in Whitestown. We sell and rent new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment. Our dealership also provides parts, in house service and field service for all of your equipment needs.
Bobcat of Indy is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist. If you have previous inventory/parts experience, have great customer service skills, and want to be a part of a growing team, apply today!
Monday - Friday dayshift
$20-24/hr depending on expereince
Responsibilities
  • Assist in determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services.
  • Maintain a clean in-store display and merchandise sales area
  • Present merchandise to customers with professional selling techniques
  • Operate as a facilitator for customers in finding what they want
  • Maintains excellent customer relations at all times
  • Operate within all parts policies and procedures of the company

Qualifications
  • Personable, a problem solver, ethical, intelligent, and able to adapt to all elements around you including - customers, suppliers, department employees, management and peers.
  • Strong organizational skills, good communication skills, excellent customer relations skills, good computer and systems knowledge.
  • Confirmed knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Product knowledge including features and benefits knowledge of all commodities sold.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse storage systems and storage layout principles.
  • Previous experience in a parts or inventory setting.

Physical Requirements
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
