Job description

Responsibilities

As a Strategic Partner Manager in the SMB Merchant Network, you will manage a portfolio of critical accounts across priority markets. You will build strong relationships, conduct regular business reviews, and drive new diner acquisition, conversion, and retention. Your primary goal is to prevent churn and maximize revenue growth for partners.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, new diner acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for your portfolio of strategic accounts.
  • Provide an emergency contact number and maintain availability to partners at all times.
  • Identify and execute upsell, cross‑sell, and expansion opportunities while managing renewal of partner agreements.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions and address complex challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing data‑driven insights and strategic guidance to optimize partner performance.
  • Travel to meet with top partners and attend key industry events as required.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, high school degree or GED, and 4‑6 years of account or enterprise account management experience.

  • Experience working with, selling to, or managing restaurant owners (major plus).
  • Restaurant experience also a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with quick learning ability.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Native‑level fluency in English required; Mandarin or Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Self‑starter with a bias toward action and problem‑solving.
  • Prepared to make outbound calls and travel to restaurants in person.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding account goals.
