Job description

The Strategic Partnerships Manager (SPM) plays a critical role in driving Click Bond’s commercial growth by developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key customers and partners. This position supports both the tactical execution and strategic growth of assigned accounts, ensuring that customer needs are met while proactively identifying opportunities to expand Click Bond’s presence across new programs, product lines, and market segments. The Manager acts as a bridge between customers and internal teams, facilitating collaboration that leads to measurable sales growth, improved forecasting accuracy, and long-term partnership success. Through a combination of relationship management, business analysis, and market insight, this role contributes directly to Click Bond’s revenue expansion goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Client Relationship Management and Growth

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts, including Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement. Serve as the primary commercial contact, ensuring clear communication, reliable execution, and proactive engagement that builds trust and customer confidence.

Stay informed on customer operations, procurement cycles, and competitive activity to anticipate needs and recommend value-driven solutions. Prepare concise account updates and performance summaries highlighting opportunities, risks, and strategic actions.

Strategic Planning

Work closely with Business Development to create and execute strategic plans for assigned market segments. Leverage customer relationships, historical performance data, and industry insight to identify emerging trends and align Click Bond’s capabilities with future market needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Facilitate clear and consistent communication between departments to ensure customer requirements are accurately captured, understood, and executed on schedule. Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges and align delivery timelines with contractual commitments.

Support company-wide initiatives focused on improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Gather insights and feedback from customers and the field to inform future product development, strengthen service delivery, and identify emerging business opportunities.

Forecasting and Growth

Collaborate with internal teams such as Inside Sales, Distribution, and Sales Operations to refine sales forecasts, monitor pipeline health, and strengthen forecast accuracy. Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities across the assigned account portfolio. Work closely with Finance and Operations to align forecasts with production capacity, delivery schedules, and overall business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in business-to-business sales, account management, or program management, preferably within aerospace, manufacturing, or other technical industries.
  •  Proven ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within an existing account structure.
  •  Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing, and value-based selling strategies.
  •  Analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  •  Effective communicator capable of influencing stakeholders and presenting business cases to senior management.
  •  Self-motivated and driven.
  •  Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including international travel for up to two-week periods.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree in business or equivalent experience in a technical sales environment preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex business and technical documents.
  • Skilled in preparing structured, data-driven presentations and professional reports for diverse audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical and commercial information effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, margins, markups, growth percentages and financial variances.
  • Proficient in developing and managing forecasts, budgets, cost-benefit analyses, and revenue projections.

Understanding of financial metrics such as ROI, contribution margin, and cost of goods sold (COGS) as they relate to strategic decision-making.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen, with the ability to develop business cases, evaluating impacts across the enterprise.
  • Strong analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and navigate complex business variables.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Epicor, PowerBI, and Salesforce.
