KurzSolutions is looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This Business Development Manager will concentrate on selling business application solutions that support our ERP Consulting Service Line. The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the sales process, including systematic prospect targeting, development of opportunity-specific sales strategy, and selection of pursuit teams and "quarterbacking" the entire sales process. This individual will build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated to substantiated opportunities, prepare and facilitate presentations/proposals as well as close sales and finalize agreements with customers. The Business Development Manager will work closely with various firm industry and line of business leaders in co-leading growth efforts through direct prospecting, networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations.

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record in business application solutions, particularly with SAGE ERP Solutions, to build and execute our US plan.
  • Sourcing and qualifying ERP opportunities with companies currently not served by the firm
  • Working with the ERP Practice Lead and Pre-Sales Solution team to construct a demonstration of our core business application solutions
  • Actively work networking contacts, professional affiliations, industry groups and related Centers of Influence
  • Work with industry team leaders to effectively and efficiently identify and target key companies within the industry teams they support
  • Support Partners, Principals, Directors and Senior Managers in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate
  • Work closely with corporate resources to develop effective, targeted go-to-market plans for the industry teams they support
Responsibilities:

Opportunity Management

  • Prospect for new and within existing Customers to build new relationships and open new doors
  • Partner collaboratively with consulting services team to identify Customer opportunities and bring solutions to Customer challenges.
  • Quarterback winning proposals and RFP responses
  • Proactive and timely documentation of opportunity information in CRM
  • Manage project start details and escalations during project delivery
  • Manage the opportunity lifecycle
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations

Account Management

  • Develop an effective development plan for the U.S. Market
  • Facilitate, document, and execute winning account growth strategies at key accounts

Delivery Management

  • Monitor project status reports and work closely with delivery assurance to ensure successful delivery of Customer engagements
  • Participate in status meetings and other project milestone meetings to ensure Customer satisfaction

Contract Management

  • Partner with internal resources to create proposals, SOW's, MSA's and other legally binding contract details and documents
  • Enforce terms of MSA with Customer (e.g. receivable terms, non-solicitation clause, etc.)
Location
  • Must be a local from Baltimore, Maryland
Education
  • 4-year college degree BA/BS in Business or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience working with mid to large complex systems integrators
  • Superb business development and negotiation skills
  • Superb communication skills (both written and oral)

Experience
  • 5+ years technology industry-specific experience with ERP & SAGE solution sales
  • Experience working at a Cloud Consulting or Cloud-focused technology company
