Job description

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Aurora, Colorado.

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Aurora, CO at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This position involves comprehensive patient evaluation, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, documentation, and participation in performance improvement and student education activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Experience performing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment visits. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Familiarity with clinic documentation systems, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor students and direct discipline-specific therapy services.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.
  • Prior involvement in performance improvement initiatives and clinical education programs.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8 shifts.
  • Evaluation and treatment cadence: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
