Position Summary
The Property Accounting Associate-Support contributes to the success of the organization through management of administrative tasks that support the account receivable and accounts payable processes within the Central Services department.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing support to an assigned portfolio of properties across a variety of AP, AR, and administrative tasks
  • Leverages a customer support ticketing system to resolve internal and external support inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring a high-level of customer satisfaction
  • Assists with monitoring and processing vendor refunds to all different entities we manage
  • In Charge of reversing or reapplying resident receipts in our Yardi platform as needed
  • Decisions the acceptance or rejection of resident payments in ClickPay queue based on company guidelines and criteria
  • Mails back or deposits resident payment items received from ClickPay and other miscellaneous payments
  • Corresponds with internal teams to resolve customer/vendor challenges and proactively identify opportunities to advance systems and processes
  • Assists in developing analytics to track and monitor performance
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management and/or AP and AR
  • Experience with Yardi preferred, with OneSite/RealPage a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
