Job description

As a Partner+ Operations and Account Management - Senior Manager, you'll support the strategy and growth of our Partner+ program, which allows our vendor partners to use Best Buy's fulfillment capabilities. These include store pickup, fast shipping, and home delivery and installation. You'll work with external partners, as well as internal technology and supply chain teams, to drive continued adoption of the Partner+ program and growth of existing partnerships. If you are knowledgeable about fulfillment differentiators, e-commerce best practices, and operational capabilities, and have the ability to drive new business while effectively supporting daily operations, this role is right for you.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you'll do
  • Coach, guide, and develop employees while influencing internal and external partners.
  • Articulate business metrics and operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive timely recommendations.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners, effectively communicate the value of the program, educate partners on integration requirements, and drive negotiations that lead to successful platform onboarding.
  • Manage the Partner+ P&L to deliver revenue growth and profitability goals.
  • Identify and track KPIs critical to the success of assigned vendors and drive efficiencies to reduce labor needs and increase scalability.
  • Partner with internal technology, operations, supply chain, legal, accounting, and other teams to run the business and continue evolving new capabilities.
  • Lead a team of associate managers and analysts who support overall program growth.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4 or more years of retail industry experience with a background in functions such as merchandising, buying, demand planning, e-commerce, marketing, operations, customer experience, vendor management, supply chain, or fulfillment.
  • 1 or more years of experience partnering with technical business teams
  • Proven leadership skills, including cross-functional team management, providing clear work direction, career and performance coaching or mentorship, and influencing both with and without authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 or more years of dedicated functional experience in merchandising, demand or inventory planning, e-commerce site management, or merchandise planning
  • 1 or more years of direct people management experience and the proven ability to effectively lead a team
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of data and make decisions accordingly
  • Experience in short and mid-term strategy development and execution
