Job description

We are seeking a highly talented Business Development Manager to join our team!

Location: Nashville TN- Onsite with Flexibility. Open to different Atmus talent hubs.  Will consider remote options for candidates that do not live near an Atmus talent hub and cannot relocate.

Travel: Over 40% 

Experience: Experience working in the heavy-duty parts space and with Independent distributor channels is strongly preferred. 

Description:

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying, developing, and launching new customer opportunities across key growth channels. This role will own the business development process from initial introduction through program launch, with a strong focus on channel readiness, customer acquisition, and building long-term strategic relationships. They will effectively manage the relationship and business strategies for large, complexly assigned accounts (cross-regional, global, etc.) to grow our share of the customer's wallet and achieve sales goals. Develops and executes a strategy for growth in the independent channel, including on and off-highway markets. 

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in business development, customer acquisition, and partnership development, with the ability to turn initial conversations into scalable, successful programs and measurable revenue growth.

Education:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Experience working in the heavy duty parts space and with Independent distributor channels is strongly preferred. 

Base salary range: $118,138 to  $131,263/year

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

  • Identifies current and emerging customer needs.

  • Gains agreement to the benefits of Fleetguard products and solutions by helping customers make sense of available data and information. 
  • Grows Atmus' share of the customer's business. 
  • Negotiates and implements contracts with accounts as authorized, for example by managing customer questions and managing escalations for accounts receivable and/or payment terms. 
  • Leads, manages and coordinates communication and interfaces with the customer at all levels.

  • Delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
  • Identifies department issues, problems, and opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
