The Eller College of Management is seeking a Business Development Associate, Corporate Partnerships to play a critical role in cultivating relationships, forging strategic partnerships, and increasing awareness of Eller College in Arizona. The position stewards strong relationships with key strategic partners to include corporations, companies, alumni, government, the local community and others in the Chandler and Phoenix area. The position is based in the Phoenix metropolitan area and requires access to reliable transportation, as some travel is expected.

Duties & Responsibilities
External Partner Development:
  • Supports the implementation and coordination of efforts related to establishing strategic partnerships with corporations in Arizona to support the Eller Partnerships Office experiential learning program.
  • Identifies new prospects through research, establishes contact, and begins the engagement process. Recruits and signs new prospects as partners for EPO.
  • Engage with Associate Dean to share recommendations on new industries to pursue relationships with based on research conducted on business landscape and setting goals for outcomes.

Relationship management:
  • Supports the management of relationships with existing strategic partners of the Eller Partnerships Office. Maintains continuing communications.
  • Assists in implementing engagement activities that supports long-term engagement and collaboration of strategic partners.

Outreach Engagement Events:
  • Coordinates and executes events that will increase visibility and engagement with external partners in the Chandler and Phoenix area.
  • Coordinates efforts of members of Eller Partnership Office and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of outreach events.
  • Recommends strategy on what industries to engage with and build rapport by showing value of partnership with Eller and student population.

Minimum Qualifications

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
