THE ROLE:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales for a territory of KidStrong centers by reaching out to prospective clients/members. In this critical position, the Sales Representative must demonstrate a deep understanding of the KidStrong brand and curriculum in order to meet and exceed sales goals. The Sales Representative must have a laser focus on meeting and exceeding numbers and be obsessed with lead generation and follow up. Flawless maintenance of company generated leads is a must. Dedication to building the lead pipeline through community engagement and self-generated partnerships is required.
The Sales Representative must execute sound communication with the centers they support in order to ensure observations, trials, and new members receive a world-class experience when starting their KidStrong journey. An exceptional Sales Representative will maintain great relationships with families they enroll in order to drive retention and to serve as an ongoing source of referrals.
This is not the typical 9am-5pm job. For the Sales Representative to be successful they will be making calls and interacting with parents when they are available - mornings, evenings, and weekends. 25% Remote and 75% based out of our open locations but will comprise of community outreach programs such as career days, event booths, school visits, etc in the community spreading the word about KidStrong! Flexibility in availability is required. FIRST 90 DAYS TO BE ONSITE for training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (50-100+ calls/texts day is a typical outbound phone sales effort)
  • Properly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgets
  • Oversee the sales process and systems. Experience with the following systems is preferred but not required; GloFox, Podium, HubSpot, Google Sheets/Docs/Slides, and Slack.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers on seamless process for observations, trials, and enrollments
  • Respond and follow through in a timely manner with all KidStrong corporate/owner requests and client/ lead requests
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service beyond the sale to protect brand integrity
  • Create and implement quarterly community engagement plans to drive lead generation and support brand awareness
  • Proactively source partnerships and corporate sales opportunities
  • Attend team meetings as required and support center level initiatives i.e. center events, trainings, etc.
  • Sales Representative will work various days to hit all 7 days of the week with specific hours based on the needs of the centers they support.
  • Get trained and pass our KidStrong Coach training program to provide on the blue activity floor sales and coaching service to members during the trial process as well as maintaining member relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of prior experience in outbound phone sales is strongly preferred (50-100+ calls/ texts per day)
  • 1+ years of experience in health, fitness, or hospitality sales is preferred but not required
  • Strong sales mentality and comfortability with outbound sales efforts
  • Demonstrated urgency during promotional cycles to maximize return on ad spend
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adventurous and enterprising spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Practical work experience using Microsoft Office Products

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour + Bonus + Commissions
