Tzumi Electronics is a leading consumer electronics company dedicated to delivering innovative products through strong global partnerships and efficient supply chain management. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our New York City team.

This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of our production and supply chain operations, with a strong focus on Walmart Direct Import (WDI) programs and collaboration with manufacturing partners in China.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track and monitor purchase orders from issuance through final delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the New York office and China-based factories and production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Walmart Direct Import requirements, timelines, and standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate production issues while recommending effective solutions.
  • Prepare production reports, status updates, and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication between sourcing, logistics, sales, and factory partners.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring factories meet production commitments and deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively address potential delays.


Qualifications

Required

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience managing Walmart Direct Import (WDI) programs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience working with production management systems.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in production, sourcing, supply chain, or related fields.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with overseas factories and international time zones.
