JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Pennsylvania University Intercollegiate Athletics department is hiring Part-Time Event Management Interns to assist with all aspects of event management for all regular season intercollegiate home athletic events.
Duties include but not limited to: hang up/take down flags; distribute/collect event equipment; sign in event staff; ensure proper set up/tear down for event; greet visiting team/officials and escort to locker rooms; direct security and other event staff as needed; take attendance and ensure a safe, fun, enjoyable environment for all participants. Some prep/wrap up work in the office may be required. Special projects will include assisting with all aspects of possible Special Events and Big Ten/EIVA/AHA/NCAA Championships and Tournaments.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
