A new provider will have an opportunity to come into a thriving practice and join a team of 3 Physicians, 1 Physician Assistant and 3 Nurse Practitioners. This opportunity will afford the chance to see a diverse patient population with a balance of OB and GYN patients. Position Highlights:
  • Part time opportunity working 3 days/week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
  • 100% Women's Health Practice seeing both obstetrical and gynecology patients
  • Scope of practice includes:
    • Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
    • Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
    • Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
    • Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
  • Outpatient only opportunity with no call responsibilities

Requirements:
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted, active Arizona licensure or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
  • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
