The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Cocktail Server to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Cocktail Server, you will use your knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails to serve a variety of drinks to guests while providing excellent service in every interaction.

What will you do?
  • Greet guests, communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver them to guests
  • Observe and follow up with guests, ready to provide additional service
  • Prepare and deliver the guest checks; accept and process payment or direct guests to the cashier

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain an NY License
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
