Position Summary

A support associate is tasked with proactively maintaining Booker and My Favorite Neighbor standards of organization, tidiness and cleanliness in customer facing operations and back of house operations. This position is expected to take initiative, be constantly aware of and always addressing guest needs in a friendly manner, and ready to jump in to perform the responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and clean-up of tasting rooms, patio, and picnic areas
  • Answering and managing tasting room phone calls
  • Assisting guests in creating and managing reservations
  • Managing current and future reservations
  • May include hosting duties including greeting and seating guests
  • Providing water service
  • Stocking wine and non-wine inventory
  • Communication with all hospitality staff
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of facilities
  • Clearing tables and resetting tables for service
  • Polishing glasses
  • Assisting with onsite events as needed
  • In-depth knowledge of experiences, club, and current information of BKR and MFN

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to thrive in a team environment

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Works outdoors/indoors
  • Works in warm/cold climates
  • Works in high places
  • Works on wet surfaces
  • Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
  • Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
  • Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
  • Must be able to assist in moving furniture as needed to accommodate guests during inclement weather (heat, cold, extreme wind, or rain)
  • Primary office environment will be tasting room, caves, and outdoor spaces

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Hourly Rate: $16.90/an hour (tip eligible)

The salary range for this role is:

$13.90 - $20.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  Our compensation is based on cost of labor.
