Birthday Host - Part-Time
Pier 2 Roller Rink at Brooklyn Bridge Park
Join our team at one of Brooklyn's most scenic attractions, featuring views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. We're seeking friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to help create unforgettable birthday experiences for our guests.
Reports To: Birthday Manager; Current Session Manager
Schedule: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week (primarily weekends, some weekdays)
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Location: 150 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (back of Pier 2, near basketball courts)
Position Summary
The Birthday Host ensures each party runs smoothly while delivering a clean, fun, friendly, and safe experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
  • Keep birthday parties organized and on schedule
  • Engage the birthday child during special moments (DJ booth visit, candle lighting)
  • Attend to parents and guests to ensure an exceptional experience
  • Offer add-ons (e.g., unlimited soda packages for adults)
  • Assist with food preparation and service
  • Support general rink operations as needed

Qualifications
  • Customer service or event hosting experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
