Job description

We're off I-76, one mile from DSM and West Pharmaceuticals,surrounded by a variety of eateries. Hop on our free five-mile radius shuttleto visit Marsh Creek State Park or Exton Square, both 10 minutes away. QVCStudio Park and Valley Forge are both 20 minutes from us. Our Garden Grilleserves breakfast, dinner, and evening room service.

We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. Part time, weekend and night availability.

  • Responsible for counting cash, and maintaining accuracy of issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
  • Daily checks the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
  • Transmits and receives telephone messages when necessary.
  • Works closely with the reservations department to ensure arrival dates on reservations are correct.
  • Communicates all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Works closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Explains in-room and hotel features.
  • Responsible for completing all required shift paperwork and reports as assigned by management.
  • Responsible for completing all end of shift cash closing procedures.
  • Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes changes for guests.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to ledger.
  • Completes daily-required shift checklists.
  • Must wear required uniform. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
