The 50/30/20 rule is a budgeting guideline that suggests allocating 50% of your wedding budget to essentials like venue and catering, 30% to non-essentials such as decorations and entertainment, and 20% to savings or unexpected costs. For a wedding planner or coordinator, understanding this rule helps in advising clients on how to prioritize expenses effectively.

What are some common challenges faced in a part-time wedding coordinator role, and how can they be managed?

Part-time wedding coordinators often juggle multiple clients and events while managing their own schedules and commitments, which can lead to time management challenges. To manage these challenges, effective organizational skills, proactive communication, and flexibility are key. Leveraging planning tools and building strong relationships with vendors and colleagues can also help ensure smooth event execution.
