Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an SEO & AI Search Specialist to improve our organic visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI search experiences. This role is responsible for technical SEO, keyword research, content strategy, structured data (schema), AI search optimization, high-quality backlink acquisition, performance reporting, and ongoing recommendations that increase qualified organic traffic.

Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per month


What You'll Do
Technical SEO
  • Perform technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor crawlability, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, and on-page optimization.
  • Work with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
  • Ensure best practices are followed across the website.
Content Strategy & Keyword Research
  • Conduct keyword research based on search intent and business goals.
  • Develop content strategies that support lead generation and organic growth.
  • Recommend new pages, blog topics, and content updates.
  • Optimize existing content to improve rankings and engagement.
AI Search Optimization
  • Optimize website content for AI-powered search experiences and answer engines.
  • Recommend content structures that improve visibility in AI-generated responses.
  • Stay current with emerging AI search trends and recommend new optimization strategies.
Schema & Structured Data
  • Implement and maintain structured data across key website pages.
  • Recommend and validate schema opportunities to improve search visibility.
Off-Page SEO & Backlinks
  • Develop and execute a high-quality backlink strategy focused on authoritative and relevant websites.
  • Identify opportunities to earn backlinks through partnerships, industry publications, directories, guest content, and digital PR.
  • Prioritize backlink quality and relevance over quantity.
  • Monitor backlink profile health and recommend opportunities to strengthen domain authority.
Reporting & Performance
  • Track rankings, traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, and technical health.
  • Provide monthly SEO reports with insights, completed work, KPIs, and recommendations.
  • Continuously recommend improvements based on performance data.
