Working in collaboration with the class pianist/co-instructor, the instructor guides students through foundational acting techniques, text analysis, stage movement, ensemble performance, and the integration of vocal performance with dramatic action. The role includes preparing students for a culminating public performance in partnership with the Opera Scenes class, with significant emphasis on ensemble work. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress in alignment with curricular objectives, collaborating with the Classical Voice Director on instructional planning and evaluation, participating in curriculum and staff meetings, and communicating student progress with school administration.
