Overview

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive "whole health" services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers throughout Central Indiana serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

Aspire Indiana Health is seeking a visionary physician leader to drive the strategic direction of our integrated outpatient care services. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, this pivotal role will champion Aspire's whole-person integrated strategy in our outpatient care settings, overseeing the seamless integration of primary care, behavioral health, social care, and more across 9 clinic sites serving 6 counties in Central Indiana. You will be instrumental in fostering a robust, innovative community health system that serves under-resourced populations, developing new service lines, and driving high-quality care outcomes through effective stewardship of resources. You will be a steward of "One Aspire," committed to breaking down barriers to care and ensuring that every individual has access to seamless support, whether for mental health, medical needs, or social drivers of health.

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to cultivate innovative care delivery models to promote Aspire's whole-person bio-psycho-social integrated strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all outpatient care operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, productivity, and financial stewardship. Includes oversight of primary care, psychiatry, behavioral health, addiction medicine, pharmacy, specialty services.
  • Innovation & Growth: Develop new outpatient service lines in response to community needs and strategic organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Model cross-disciplinary collaboration, ensuring communication across mental health, physical health, and social support services.

Education/Experience/Licensure

  • Education: MD/DO degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience, with leadership experience in leading programmatic integration of physical and behavioral health. Experience in a community health setting is highly preferred.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Indiana or ability to obtain one prior to start date
