They provide oversight to and coordination of 33 staff across the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar to ensure delivery of quality services to all constituents, including prospective, current, and former students as well as faculty, staff, and administrators. The AVPEM works collaboratively with Deans, Directors, Department Chairs, and other University officials to ensure that enrollment management processes maintain the highest level of service to students and the campus community. The AVPEM serves as a role model of the University's EPPIIC values and supports the University's strategic plan.
The Institution:

Its downtown streets are lined with centuries-old brick buildings, independent shops, and a thriving arts scene that gives the city a creative pulse. Just minutes away, the landscape shifts dramatically into rolling fields, Amish farms, and peaceful backroads, creating a striking contrast that shapes daily life. This mix allows residents to enjoy walkable urban living while still having immediate access to rural beauty and fresh, local food. Neighborhoods range from lively, diverse city blocks to serene suburban pockets and wide-open countryside communities. The manageable cost of living makes it easier to build a comfortable life without big-city financial pressure. Lancaster's cultural life is rich, with theaters, galleries, and festivals that keep the city vibrant. At the same time, the region's agricultural heritage brings a grounded, community-oriented atmosphere. Strong schools and short commutes add to the region's practicality for families and professionals alike. The region's blend of deep history, urban charm, and rural tranquility creates a lifestyle that feels both dynamic and deeply rooted. Regionally, the Pennsylvania state capital, Harrisburg, is within a 30-minute drive; Philadelphia is approximately an hour commute by train; and Washington, D.C. and New York City are within a three-hour drive, making for easy day trips to each city. For more information about all that the region has to offer, please visit https://www.discoverlancaster.com.
