The Opportunity

We are growing our import services department in Buffalo, NY, focusing on our customs brokerage product. We are looking to staff for a variety of hours/shifts, including part-time and full-time opportunities. 

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure a smooth and timely customs process flow
  • Uphold accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems
  • Track and trace customs entry filings 
  • Maintain accurate and timely client invoicing 
  • Understand and follow curated customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) 
  • Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Assist with verification of customs declaration information and the submission of such to the customs authority
  • Ensure compliance at all times to internal and external regulations
Qualifications
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Coachable, receptive to feedback
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office suite) 
  • Fluent in reading and writing in English
