Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health, and oncology care. Job Description:
Position is responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education:
High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.
Experience:
Technical Skills:
Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
License/Certification:
Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
