Job description

Solid Rock Excavating is hiring a Part-Time Accounting Clerk with experience in construction accounting. This position requires hands-on knowledge of prevailing wage payroll and union reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with payroll, including certified payroll / prevailing wage
  • Handle union reporting, fringes, and deductions
  • Maintain job costing and financial records
  • Assist with reconciliations and audit preparation

Requirements

  • Construction accounting experience (REQUIRED)
  • Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll (REQUIRED)
  • Familiarity with union reporting and compliance (REQUIRED)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
