Schedule: Sunday 2pm-8pm; Monday 8am-4pm; Tuesday 4pm-8pm; Wednesday 4pm-8pm; Thursday 4pm-8pm

Location: Stamford, NY

Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.00

Position Overview
Provides a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors at Robinson Terrace. Manages front desk operations including answering phones, directing inquiries, scheduling visits, and handling administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Supports staff by ensuring smooth communication and a safe, organized environment that reflects the facility’s commitment to compassionate care.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greets all persons entering the nursing home, directing them to the appropriate areas.

  • Switchboard duties which include answering and directing calls, paging, making announcements, and taking accurate phone messages.

  • Monitoring front door ensuring resident’s safety. Must be alert to the possibility of residents that wander or attempt to leave the facility, and if necessary, announcing proper codes per policy.

  • Assist in Resident & Family council notices, etc.

  • Maintains a current list of residents by name and room numbers.

  • Maintains emergency numbers, department head numbers, extension list, etc.

  • Clerical duties: typing memorandums, addressing envelopes, copying and typing for other departments.

  • Maintain and distribute transportation reports.

  • Receive and disburse mail as needed.
