Part-Time TUTOR (3 days/week)

JOB GOAL/PRIMARY PURPOSE:
A Tutor/Educational Technician/Behavior Health Professional affirms the right of children with disabilities to have the opportunity to make choices for themselves and to exert a measure of control over their physical and social environment.

Quality standards include the following:

  • Provides implementation of curriculum related to IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date daily progress notes and additional comments and reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide supports and accommodations as dictated by a student's Individualized Education Plan.
  • Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure consistency and integrity in treatment approaches
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and treatment/support strategies.
  • Participate in the development & implementation of the Individual Education Plan.
  • Conduct all activities and interactions in a professional, caring manner.
  • Work in a cooperative and collaborative manner as a team member.
