Job description

We're looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and high attention to detail. We hope to find someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.


This part-time position would be on-site, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, or as arranged

with the Minister.


JOB GOALS: To serve as the “hub” of church communications, coordinating the office, facilitating information distribution, and providing hospitality to all who interact with the church.

To assist the Treasurer with processing invoices, paying bills, and providing employees’ time sheets and other information to Miller Management Systems (MMS).


Administrative Duties:

 Greet visitors, answer phone calls, reply to emails

 Sort, file, scan, and organize physical and digital office documents

 Order and restock office supplies

 Maintain church calendar(s)

 Help committees with special projects

 Write basic emails, letters, and reports


Financial Duties:

 Enter purchases and receipts into QuickBooks

 Create and send invoices and track money owed (accounts receivable)

 Process bills from vendors and track money paid (accounts payable)

 Match bank and credit card statements to church records

 Organize receipts and financial logs

 Help track employee work hours and send to Miller Management for payroll
