Join our team as an Administrative Assistant, supporting executive-level offices at USCIS by preparing reports, analyzing data, and suggesting solutions for senior level management! You will provide administrative support including file management, phone coverage, document and correspondence drafting, and data entry, ensuring professional services in support of the Customer. This position also includes scheduling and coordinating meetings and events; preparing expense reports; and using systems for travel, budget, and other tasks. The support functions include daily administrative support where schedules, electronic mail and projects are received and managed.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This is a part-time, on-call position requiring a minimum commitment of two days per month (16 hours), scheduled every other week, days TBD. In addition to the regular schedule, candidates must be available on short notice to provide coverage when a team member is unexpectedly absent. Core hours are between 7 AM - 6 PM EST. All work is onsite in Camp Springs, MD.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing reports, analyzing data, and suggesting solutions for senior level management
  • Provide administrative support including file management, phone coverage, document and correspondence drafting, and data entry
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events
  • Preparing expense reports and using systems for travel, budget, and other tasks

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Executive Administrative Assistant or similar labor classification supporting senior level management
  • Have a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Have experience preparing reports, analyzing data, and suggesting solutions for senior level management
  • Experience using GovTA for time and attendance keeping (or WebTA or similar)
  • Familiarity utilizing Concur or similar travel scheduling software
  • Experience with STARS or similar form of data/record tracking
