The Cedars of Chapel Hill is an upscale retirement community with over 400 Members. The Transportation Specialist plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional Member experience by providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation throughout The Cedars campus and the greater Chapel Hill/Durham area. 

Transportation services include both scheduled appointments and, when operationally feasible, accommodating same-day transportation requests. The Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring Members arrive at their destinations safely and on time while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor. 

In addition to providing transportation, this role is responsible for conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and appearance, and assisting with the coordination of basic maintenance needs. 

Success in this role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong time management and organizational abilities, flexibility in responding to changing transportation needs, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. The Transportation Specialist must demonstrate a commitment to safety, professionalism, and the high standards of hospitality that define The Cedars experience. Hours: Every other FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY
