Job description

Pay: $15/hr
Schedule: Part-Time, 25-29 hours per week with additional hours available

PeopleShare is hiring a reliable and safety-focused Transportation Driver to support a local youth organization in Virginia Beach. This role is responsible for safely transporting children and teens (ages 6-18) to and from programs, activities, and occasional field trips while helping create a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport youth to scheduled programs and activities
  • Assist with transportation for special events and field trips
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation schedules
  • Ensure passengers follow safety guidelines during transport
  • Communicate professionally with staff and participants
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint screening
  • Comfortable working with children and teens
  • Dependable, professional, and safety-focused
