Job description

Job Description As a Registered Nurse on our Renal Transplant Unit, you will provide care to chronically ill patients recovering from kidney transplant procedures and other complex conditions and treatment plans. This is a fast-paced high acuity unit that is growing due to continued success of our Kidney Transplant Services that continues to increase our number of kidney transplants each year. Shift: Part Time Days, 12 hour shifts. This position is a weekend work position. It works 2- 12 hour weekends shifts Saturday and Sunday 6:45 am until 7:15 pm and is paid at time and a half. Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  • Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
  • Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines
